The first episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 2 arrived just in time for Christmas this year, and we all know that the holidays are the perfect time for giving gifts. However, it’s often difficult to discern how to give DLC (downloadable content) as a gift. To help you all out, we’ve put together this guide to make your last minute holiday gift giving a little bit easier!

Steam (for PCs and Macs)

Locate The Walking Dead Season 2 on the Steam Storefront and then click the “Add to cart” button. Upon checking out, select the “Purchase as a gift” option to purchase the items in your cart for a friend or family member! You can either enter their email address or, if you’d like to send it at a later date, you can place the game in your Steam Inventory and send it via Steam Trading. If you want to use Steam Trading, please note that you’ll need a steam account of your own.

Apple has a handy guide that walks you through exactly how to send someone an iOS game!

Too lazy to click the link? Here’s our summary. Search for The Walking Dead Season 2 in the App Store. Select the game, and in the upper right hand corner tap the Share icon. Then all you have to do is tap “Gift,” log in with your Apple ID, enter the email address of the receiver and VOILA! You can even send a message with it or schedule a time and date for it to deliver. Pretty nifty.

Playstation 3

For someone who owns a Playstation 3, you can purchase them a $10-50 giftcard for use in the Playstation store, where they will be able to download The Walking Dead Episode 201 directly!

Xbox 360

There are two options here. If you’re a parent or someone with direct access to a friend’s Xbox 360, you can download episode 201 or the full season pass straight onto an Xbox 360 here!

Alternately, you can purchase an Xbox giftcard! For example, this $5 giftcard from Gamestop would cover purchasing episode 201. Alternately, Amazon’s $25 Xbox giftcard would cover a season pass!
