The Walking Dead: New Homepage

For a while we have not had a main page for our website, as a result our forums were cluttered with various images linking to our game servers, teamspeak and AMC's "The Walking Dead" website.

This detracted from the look of the forum and for quite a while I have wanted to move everything to a front page. I could have used a first or third party portal software however in an effort to produce a seamless look and provide a more interactive website I opted to go for IP.Content. Unfortunately while this software is extremely flexible, the learning curve is also rather steep.

As a result I had put off producing anything until the point in time where I had days to spend getting the look right. Being off for three weeks holiday, "vacation" for those of you in the U.S." I took the dive and have started the first part of main page. This page is likely to change and as a result I'm sure you'll spot some errors over the course of the next few weeks.

In addition to providing a base for the website I also wanted our members to be able to post videos, articles etc that they've either found interesting or that would benefit the rest of the community. It could be hints, tips, tweaks, in the form of an article or strategies,new gameplay posted on the likes of YouTube in the form of a video.

As a result an articles and media section will be added to the website over the course of the next couple of weeks. It is my intention that these will be used to enhance the browsing experience of everyone involved with TWD.
